At 7am I looked at the weather forecast and decided we could
make Thomas Island with the light south easterly forecast. As soon as we had a
cup of tea the anchor was raised and we were on our way.
Many whales were seen and we arrived at Thomas Island in time
for lunch at 1.30pm.
I had a bit of a fish but no luck.
The afternoon was spent doing a few chores and we went ashore
for sundowners and lit a fire to enjoy the sunset with.
The sunset was spectacular with the smoke from the cane fires.
Sunset improved as the sun sank lower
We retired to the yacht for fish and salad dinner.
