10th Sep Nara Inlet to Macona Inlet 5nm

Today was a quiet morning getting boat chores done. Many times, I put off what I should be doing to maintain the yacht but then eventually a day comes that seems right and you just have to do it.

I rewarded myself with a one-hour paddleboard ride into the mangroves of Nara Inlet to explore.

It is very peaceful gliding up narrow waterways observing marine and bird life on a paddle board as you cannot do it with a motor on a dinghy or rowing with oars. Paddle board you can go very quietly.

Stand Up Paddle Board

Midday we raised the anchor along with Isabella and motored to Macona Inlet where we agreed to meet Ngak Ngak for and evening meal.

A quick lunch and a swim and another session on the paddleboard before a quick rest before dinner preparations.

Sunset drinks were on Billabong and we had a very enjoyable dinner and conversation with Michelle and Hamish from Ngak Ngak.
