Today is provisioning day. Back into Airlie for water and re
stock of the supplies.
Left after breakfast and arrived at the marina at 12.30 and gave
Billabong a good washing down to rinse the salt spray off.
Tamara went to the laundry and met Sue Ellis from Unruffled and
we were invited for drinks at 5 o’clock.
I headed off to get some supplies from Woolworths. The new
Woolies in Airlie is fantastic for small provisioning but carrying back a load
is a bit tiresome. Best to get the Shaggers car from Quadrant Marine or the Marina
Courtesy Car.
Did not get many jobs completed before it was time to have drinks
with Sue and John.
Tamara and I headed into town along the walkway for dinner at La
Tabella. We ate their with Graham and Leanne on Echo Beach 4 years ago on the
2013 Coral Coast Cruise. Was good then and excellent now. I had a good steak
and mushrooms to get away from fish or seafood, while Tamara had Salmon.
A lovely walk home in the gentle wind along the board walk was a
great way to end the evening.
