7.30 am we were on our way to Airlie Beach. Again, no wind to
sail with so it was a motor sail again.
We were trying to get to Airlie before the big wind change to
the SE at 20 knots. We made it in to the anchorage and within half an hour
of anchoring the wind came in from the SE with gusts to 25 knots. We were
going to go to the yacht club for dinner but decided to stay put on the yacht for
the evening. It was not too unpleasant on anchor but it would have been a wet dinghy ride to the yacht club.
