Billabong stayed on anchor outside the marina wall. We found it
quite comfortable despite the coming and goings of the marina traffic. They
mostly slowed down but every now and then you would get a fast boat go past
and make big waves.
We had two dinners ashore with Martin and Judy. First night at
the yacht club and second evening at Sorrento’s at the marina. Both were very
enjoyable.
Saturday morning we spent at the markets and got some really
nice produce to restock the yacht.
Now that Woolies has opened a new store in Airlie it is so
convenient just to dinghy in and get supplies.
The public jetty in the marina also has water so that is easy to
take on too.
