After breakfast and last-minute chores, we left the marina to
refuel.
At 11.30am we headed for Woodwark bay along with Nirvana’s
Kitchen and Isabella to hunt and gather the large oysters there.
After lunch and a nap Judy and Leon picked me up and we had
managed to get about 3 dozen really big oysters for entrée. I have to say these
are amongst the biggest Oysters we have had around this region.
We also explored the bottom end of the bay where there is a
Tahitian type village built for a South Seas film which had 22 episodes filmed
there in the 1990’s.
It is now called Paradise bay resort which is run by Red Cat
adventures. Back packers have an overnight experience there.
We went ashore but were politely requested to leave.
Back on the yachts we prepared the oysters.
Dinner was on Isabella where we had Oysters for entrée, crumbed
fish for second entrée and BBQ lamb cutlets and an Apple strudel and cream cooked
by Nirvana. Great dinner with the six of us but as usual we ate way too much.
Leon took us back to Billabong in his dinghy and we had a bit of a rolly night with the swell coming into the bay.
We managed some good sleep and it was not too bad.
