Not a lot to report today. Just a sailing day without a lot of adventure. We were going to have an early
start at 6.30am but the winds were stronger than expected. We delayed the start
of the passage until 8.30 in the hope that the winds would die down a bit. They
did. We motor sailed for a couple of hours and then sailed. We could not make
Magnetic Island in one tack so it became a long but pleasant sail in a dying breeze.
When we got to Magnetic Island the Race week fleet were coming around the
island with spinnakers up. It was a good sight to see.
We arrived at Horseshoe bay in the middle of the afternoon
with one small spotted mackerel on board for dinner and had an afternoon nap.
After dinner it was early to bed again.
